The Urology Clinic

Effective June 30th 2022, I retired from my urology practice.

When I announced my retirement from my urology practice, I did not appreciate how difficult it would be. I had discussions with the urologists here in Stevens Point at the Aspirus Clinic; they were happy to assume my patient population. I felt very comfortable with these physicians and their practice. I had hoped my patient’s medical records would be managed by Aspirus locally. After discussions with administrative staff at Aspirus, I was informed that they were not interested.

By law, I am required to keep and maintain medical records. Your record is the property of The Urology Clinic. If you choose to pick up a copy of your record so that you may personally take it to your new physician, please do so prior to a scheduled appointment.

A retrieval fee of $24.00 will be charged (Wis. Stat. 146.83). Call (715) 295-9939, and my staff will do their best to accommodate you. It pains me to charge my former patients for this service. However, I will have to manage my medical records and maintain staff, storage space, and communication for years.

I greatly appreciate your trust over the last 27 years and wish you all the best for your future health.

Sincerely,
John R. Fuller, MD
